Field IT Support (Part Time, Education), Winchester SO22

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Part-Time Field IT Support Technician to join out team within a Schools MSP. Assisting with user support, on-site maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware.

This role is customer facing and needs someone with great interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on assistance in schools in Winchester and Southampton, with support from a remote team.

Duties & Skills

• Supporting users with logged tickets supported by remote team.
• Knowledgeable and comfortable supporting OneDrive/Sharepoint.
• Experience with Microsoft InTune.
• Windows Server experience.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and setup of new IT equipment.
• Experienced supporting Windows environments.
• Experience supporting tablets, iPad, Android and desirable experience with Chrome OS.
• Supporting WIFI and working knowledge of Ubiquiti products desirable.

This role is a field role and requires a driving license. This role works in schools and requires an enhanced DBS (or candidate on the update service).

This is initially a fixed term contract with review to extend.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
