Night Porter, Winchester

Location: Winchester

Rate of pay: £13.07 per hour plus TRONC (service charge), £13.30 OTE. Contract Type: 4 nights per week.

The Night Porter is instrumental in overseeing the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise. This is a hands on role managing the guest expectations and ensuring the standards of the brand are maintained.

• Oversee the Food & Beverage Department during the night.
• Welcome guests to the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensure public areas are kept immaculate, including cleaning and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage, handle enquiries, and carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
• Work a range of shifts and days; flexibility is offered.

• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience of night shift work is essential.
• Organised and an excellent communicator.

• Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year; shift patterns can be discussed at interview.
• Offer nationally recognised apprenticeships alongside detailed brand training.
• Progression opportunities to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
