English tutor for SEN student

We are seeking an experienced GCSE English tutor to work with a student who has an EHCP

About the Student
He is incredibly literal in his understanding and struggles to interpret what exam questions are asking.
In his last exam, he missed the 40-mark extended writing question.
He requires clear, structured, and patient support to help him build confidence and exam technique.

Requirements
Must have experience supporting students with SEN/ASD.
Ability to break down exam questions into manageable steps and teach strategies for understanding what is being asked.
Strong communication skills, with a focus on literal and explicit instruction.
In-person tuition only.

Details
Where: In-person sessions (location details to be provided).
Focus: GCSE English Language , exam technique, comprehension, and extended writing practice.

Ideal Candidate
A tutor with a background in SEN or specialist tutoring.
