Propps Hall Primary School is a popular and successful single-form entry primary school in Failsworth. We are a friendly community school with a strong and caring ethos.

We are seeking to appoint a skilled, confident and proactive Playworker for our Before and After School Club (Phoenix Club).

Our Before and After School Club is led and managed by the school and provides a small, nurturing environment offering high-quality childcare for working families. The working hours for this post are 7:30am-8:50am and 3:00pm-5:45pm, Monday to Thursday, with an earlier finish of 5:20pm on Fridays.

• Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or childcare setting
• Can confidently lead and support other staff
• Can plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities

• Understands safeguarding responsibilities and follows procedures effectively
