Plant Technician / Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter Location: Bilston, Birmingham Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Rota: Monday - Friday DAYS Overtime: Paid At An Increased Rate My client, a large heavy plant hire company, is looking for a qualified and experienced Plant technician / Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter to join their workshop fitter team. The Plant technician / Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter will be based out of the depot in the Birmingham area. The Plant Technician / Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter will be working on a range of heavy plant vehicles and machinery ranging from 1.5t mini diggers up to 20t excavators, as well as dumpers, rollers and telehandlers. The main responsibilities of the Plant Technician / Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter will include; Routine maintenance of heavy plant vehicles and machinery Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose PDI inspection work Safety LOLER inspections.
