Days | Covering 5 Elderly Nursing Homes | RGN/RMN/RNLD Considered An experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse with a background in teaching and training is required to work as Training Manager for the West Midlands region, covering care homes from Stoke to Leamington Spa. What the successful Nurse Training Manager will receive and details of the role: * 40 hours per week on flexible day shifts, working at locations throughout the West Midlands region * A great annual salary in the region of £45,000 to £48,000 depending on experience, which is in line with NHS Band 8 rates of pay * A generous annual leave allowance, a workplace pension scheme and a supportive working environment As RGN/RMN/RNLD Training Manager you will take responsibility for creating, reviewing and delivering all statutory and mandatory training programmes and CPD programmes and supporting Managers to enable them to deliver training sessions. You will ensure all training is up to date and in line with current legislation and will define career and training pathways within the business, in addition to supporting and assessing Student Nurses and delivering reports and analytics. What the centre is looking for in a Nurse Training Manager: * NMC Registered Nurse ? Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD will all be considered * Qualified NVQ Assessor, having also completed a Level 3 PTLLS qualification or equivalent * Up to date clinical skills and knowledge and able to teach other staff members best practices of care * Ideally have experience delivering training sessions relevant to elderly and dementia nursing care, and have up to date knowledge of training and quality requirements in the adult social care sector * Confident delivering training sessions and supporting junior members of staff * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a well-organised approach * A driver and able to travel to different care homes to deliver training For further details, or to apply now, please follow the link provided.
