Malvern International is seeking an experienced Engineering Lecturer to deliver modules at for our university pathway courses.

Within our University Partnerships division, owing to significant growth at our UoW International Study Centre, we now seek additional teaching staff in a range of subjects at the UoW campus.

Length of contract:

April 2026 – May 2026

Hours - 12 hours per week

Main duties

The role requires the delivery of classes on the UoW campus to face to face students and candidates must have an MBA or a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area and substantial industry experience, be experienced in teaching and assessing international students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, be able to work autonomously and be patient, committed and sensitive to the needs of international pathway students.

Key Responsibilities

· Creating materials including assessments according to the module specification

· Preparing and uploading materials on VLE

· Delivering lessons/lectures

· Holding personal weekly progress/monitoring meetings with students

· Marking and moderating students’ work, providing students with feedback and feedforward

· Attending meetings as required

· Writing semester and end of module reports

· -Carry out observations planned by the Head of Learning & Teaching following established Centre policy and procedures.

Person Specification

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· MBA or Master’s with significant experience in a relevant subject area

· Proven experience in teaching and assessing international students at undergraduate level

· An ability to work autonomously

· Patience, commitment and sensitivity to the needs of international pathway students

· Excellent organisational, planning, collaboration and communication skills

· A collaborative approach, with experience working across departments or institutions

· High proficiency in using technology to support teaching, learning, assessment and feedback

· An ability to meet conflicting deadlines

· A student-focused approach to teaching and learning

This role meets the requirements in respect of exempted questions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
