Primary SEN Teacher, Wolverhampton

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with special educational needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum effectively.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, using this information to inform future planning and targeted support.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and external professionals to provide a consistent and supportive approach.
• Contribute to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other personalised support strategies.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on pupil progress.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN setting.
• A strong understanding of different learning needs, including communication and behavioural challenges.
• The ability to adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching.

• A competitive daily rate of £92–£112, depending on experience.
