Dairy Farm Manager – Cyprus - €45,000 + Performance Bonus + Accommodation

The Job:
An established commercial dairy business in Cyprus is seeking an experienced and practical Dairy Farm Manager to take operational responsibility for two Holstein dairy units. This is a senior, hands on management position focused on improving operational performance, herd productivity and technical standards across both farms.
The business is looking for a highly capable individual who is confident leading teams, making operational decisions and managing both livestock and technical systems in a commercial dairy environment.

Key responsibilities:
- Full operational management of two commercial dairy farms
- Oversight of milking operations, feeding, herd health and fertility performance
- Management of youngstock and daily livestock routines
- Monitoring milk production, cow activity and herd performance using dairy management software
- Analysis of farm KPIs and production data to improve efficiency and identify issues early
- Leadership and coordination of farm staff across both units
- Scheduling workloads, maintaining standards and driving accountability
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene, welfare and biosecurity
- Liaising with vets, nutritionists, suppliers and external service providers
- Monitoring farm costs including feed, labour, maintenance and veterinary spend
- Supporting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of dairy equipment and farm systems

The Company:
The business operates two commercial Holstein dairy units and employs approximately 15 staff across both farms. It is a progressive, forward thinking operation with a strong focus on continuously improving systems, efficiency and overall herd performance.

The Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing commercial dairy farms
- Strong practical knowledge of dairy herd management and production systems
- Experience with dairy software systems such as Afimilk or similar
- Sound understanding of fertility, nutrition and herd health management
- Hands-on technical ability with milking equipment and farm machinery
- Proven experience managing and motivating farm teams
- Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently
- Fluent English essential
- Willingness to relocate to Cyprus for a long-term opportunity
