DuetocontinuedgrowthandastrongAMP8workload,ourclientislookingtoappointanElectricalProjectEngineertosupportthedeliveryofprojectsprimarilyacrosstheSevernTrentWaterframework,withopportunitiestoworkonschemeswithintheThamesWaterregionwhenrequired.

WorkingcloselywithProjectManagers,SiteTeams,Designers,CommissioningEngineersandSupplyChainPartners,you'llplayapivotalroleinensuringelectricalandICApackagesaredeliveredsafely,efficientlyandtothehigheststandard.

KeyResponsibilities

• SupportthesuccessfuldeliveryofelectricalandICAelementsacrossaportfolioofwaterandwastewaterprojects.
• Manageprojectsfromdesignreviewthroughtoinstallation,testing,commissioningandfinalhandover.
• Coordinateelectricalandinstrumentationactivitieswithcivilandmechanicaldisciplines.
• Reviewelectricaldesigns,technicalspecificationsandprocurementpackages.
• Liaisewithclients,subcontractors,designersandsuppliersthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.
• Supportprocurementandmanagementofelectricalequipment,panels,MCCs,instrumentationandassociatedplant.
• Monitorprogrammeperformance,projectcostsandqualitystandards.
• Assistsiteteamswithinstallationplanning,technicalqueriesandproblemsolving.
• Ensurecompliancewithallrelevantindustrystandards,regulationsandclientspecifications.
• Carryoutinspections,auditsandqualitycheckstoensurearight-first-timeapproach.
• Supportcommissioningactivitiesandwitnesstestingwhererequired.
• Contributetowardsprojectreporting,progressmeetingsandcommercialreviews.

AboutYou

We'rekeentospeakwithindividualswhohaveexperiencedeliveringelectricalprojectswithinthewater,utilities,industrial,manufacturing,processorinfrastructuresectors.

Youwillideallypossess:

• PreviousexperienceworkingasanElectricalProjectEngineer,ElectricalEngineer,ElectricalSupervisororsimilarproject-focusedrole.
• NVQLevel3inElectricalInstallationorequivalentelectricalqualification.
• 18thEditionWiringRegulations,City&Guilds2391Inspection&Testingorequivalent.
• Strongunderstandingofelectricalinstallations,powerdistribution,controlsystemsandindustrialelectricalequipment.
• Experienceworkingwithinwaterandwastewaterenvironmentswouldbehighlyadvantageous.
• ExposuretoInstrumentation,Control&Automation(ICA)systemswouldbehighlydesirable.
• KnowledgeofMCCs,PLC-controlledsystems,telemetryandprocesscontrolequipmentwouldbebeneficial.
• Abilitytointerpretelectricaldrawings,schematicsandtechnicaldocumentation.
• Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementskills.
• Commercialawarenessandanunderstandingofprojectdeliveryrequirements.
• CSCSCard &SMSTSorSSSTSqualification(preferred).
