We have a great opportunity to join the friendly team of a very popular café in Whitehaven. Hours are between 28 and 35 per week, working 5 days a week which will include Saturdays. There is no evening work and Sundays are off (except in December when the café opens on Sundays for festive feasts).

• Greet customers.
• Take customer orders.
• Take payments.
• Make teas and coffees.
• Serve food.
• Clear tables.
• Mop floors and keep surfaces clean.
• Help with the counter and cabinet displays.

The café seats 120 customers and can get busy at times, so the ideal candidate will be able to keep calm and carry on while ensuring each customer has a great experience.

If you have great customer service skills and love working with people, this could be the ideal job for you.

• Enjoys working with people.
• Experience in a café or restaurant preferred but not essential.
• Able to work 28 to 35 hours per week (including Saturdays).
• Clean and presentable.
• A team player.
• Starting wage of £12.75 per hour.
• Statutory pension scheme.
