What you will do:

• Undertakesafeguarding enquiriesin line withSection 42 of the Care Act 2014
• Completeholistic assessmentsof risk, need, and capacity
• Develop, implement, and regularly reviewprotection and support plans
• Work with adults to promotechoice, control, and least restrictive practice
• Apply theMental Capacity Act 2005and leadbest interest decision-making
• Lead and contribute tomulti-agency meetingsand strategy discussions

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work

Registration&Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS
• Right to Work in the UK

Key Skills:

• Strongsafeguarding and risk assessmentskills
• Sound knowledge of theCare Act 2014andMental Capacity Act 2005
• Ability to makeconfident professional judgements
• Excellentcommunication, analytical, and report-writingskills
• Ability to work effectively within amulti-agency environment
• ConfidentIT and case managementskills

Experience:

• Post-qualification experienceas a Social Worker
• Experience working inadult safeguarding and protection
• Experience managingcomplex and high-risk cases
• Proven experience ofmulti-agency working
