Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-qualitySpeech and Language Therapy assessments and interventionsacross the service
- Conduct specialistdysphagia assessments and management planstailored to individual service users
- Support the Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in maintaining effective service delivery
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure care aligns with service users'management plans
- Provide expert SLT advice and consultation to colleagues involved in service users'care
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with statutory and organisational guidelines
- Promote the wellbeing, dignity, and interests of all service users
- Supervise junior staff members and students as directed by the line manager
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registration with theHealth and Care Professions Council (HCPC)as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Membership with theRoyal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
- Minimum of two years'post-qualification experience
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism
- Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills
- Experience supporting junior staff or students
- Competitive salary of£40,000 per annum
