Maintenance Technician, Wrexham

Maintenance Technician c£48,000 including quarterly bonus Wrexham, Wales MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join a maintenance team in Wrexham, Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join one the UK's leading Waste Management companies in the UK. This role is a days-based position working a 5 day, 40-hour week, Monday to Saturday (alternating Saturdays).As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for: Carrying out preventative&reactive maintenance on mechanical&electrical industrial plant. Conducting breakdown repairs on conveyors, rotating screens (trommels), magnets, air separators etc. Supporting process improvement initiatives. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with stringent H&S&Environmental standards. Other duties as required. To be considered for this role you should have: An ONC / City&Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)&relevant experience Experience working with equipment such as PLCs, Conveyors, bailers, hydraulics&pneumatics. Problem solving skills. A strong commitment to health&safety with environmental knowledge.
