Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location-Wrexham Salary-£52,500 + Benefits Shifts- 4 on 4off (2d2/n) The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and highly invested manufacturing site in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, automated environment with significant ongoing investment in machinery, technology, and site improvements.You'll be working with advanced manufacturing systems including robotics, automated production lines, and end-of-line packaging machinery. This company are willing to put you through external courses I have successfully placed an engineer in this business and they're funding his NVQ 3 In Electrical EngineeringThe Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities include: Planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment Fault finding on mechanical and/or electrical systems Working on robotics, automated machinery, and end-of-line packaging equipmentSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related disciplineA strong track record within a manufacturing or automated production environment Experience with automated machinery, robotics, or packaging equipment (desirable) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities A proactive, hard-working attitude and good reliability What's on Offer 23 shift holiday daysModern manufacturing facility with significant investment in automation and machinery Stable and growing business with long-term opportunities ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
