Qualifications

Essential criteria

• Degree qualification and / or relevant experience.

Desirable criteria

• Master's degree in numerate discipline or equivalent relevant NHS experience
• Microsoft Certifications

Experience/ Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Experience of working with NHS data
• Specialist knowledge of information management techniques, including data collection, validation, database management, and reporting
• Specialist knowledge of information management techniques, including data collection, validation, database management, and reporting
• Experience of SQL Server, querying and Reporting Services, although transferable skills will be considered
• Knowledge and experience of data warehousing technology and the Extract, Transform and Load process
• Knowledge of Data Protection legislation and confidentiality issues

Desirable criteria

• Recent previous staff management experience
• Specialist in-depth knowledge of NHS EPR, data flows, data definitions and information sources
