About the ServicePinecroft is our specialised residential home where we support autistic adults who have a variety of mental health needs. We support them to develop skills to promote their health and wellbeing, inclusion in the local community and greater independence. We are looking for staff with a "can do" approach who can offer active support to facilitate and enable the people we support and help keep their home tidy and clean.
About the RoleWe are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and night and morning routines. While residents are asleep you will be undertaking the housekeeping cleaning duties ensuring that we meet infection prevention and control standards.
What You’ll Do- Assist the people we support with their night time and morning routines.
- Clean the home according to infection prevention and control standards.
- Perform the closing and opening checks in the kitchen.
- Inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people.
- Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
- Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome.
This is a full-time position at 36 hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, including evening and weekend working. Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is essential.
