Warehouse Team Leader, Wincanton

Due to internal restructuring, we are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee a small team and manage day-to-day warehouse operations. This role involves leading the team, ensuring accurate order fulfilment, maintaining stock control, and keeping systems up to date. ?? Wincanton??£30,000 £35,000 ?? Full-Time | Permanent ?? Monday Friday, 8:15am 5:15pm The Applicant MUST HAVE: 23 years experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader Proven ability to manage and lead staff (with support from Directors and external providers) Strong problem-solving skills A valid forklift licence (refresh training can be provided)Key Responsibilities Oversee daily activities including goods in, picking, packing, and dispatch Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks Ensure a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment Monitor KPIs to drive performance and efficiencyManage returns, damaged goods, and non-conforming products Team Management Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Work closely with departments such as Finance, Sales Support, and Marketing Systems&Compliance Maintain accurate warehouse systems and records Ensure compliance with Health&Safety policies and company procedures Key Skills Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Effective problem-solving and decision-making Leadership and team development experience Experience&Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role Good understanding of Health&Safety regulations and compliance TPBN1_UKTJ
