Role: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Location: Yeovil and surrounding areas
Salary: £93 - £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start date: September 2026

Connex Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools in Yeovil and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities available on a day-to-day supply basis, as well as short-term and long-term placements starting from September 2026. We are working exclusively with a large and highly respected Multi‑Academy Trust that supports a wide network of schools across the Southwest. • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Help pupils access learning.
• Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment in either EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

• Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc. is desirable.
• Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
