About the company The company are a successful medium size main contractor rapidly growing their team in the York area, working within a variety of busy sectors within the UK buildings market. Role & Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have between 10 years post-graduate experience within a similar main contractor environment and have experience working with all main materials predominantly within the residential and commercial sectors. The scope of work covers a variety of new build and refurbishment projects and experience of the following would be beneficial: Private residential High end residential Commercial Medium rise buildings Basement design Requirements BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering Graduate member of ICE/IStructE Minimum of 2 years' experience Experience of working in a close-knit environment Experience of working in all main materials including Steel, timber, Masonry and Concrete Excellent communication
