Maintenance Engineer, York

We are the UK market leader of food snacks within our sector and we have remained stable throughout the year, and as a direct employer, we have an immediate vacancy for a qualified engineer with a manufacturing background, food industry preferred, but not essential as training is available. You?ll be working on a variety of food process machinery within a small engineering department and you will be covering a 6-2 & 2-10 rotating double day shift at our main site in York. Salary is £37,000 per annum after the probation period. We?re looking for a self-starter and a team player who's able to work using their own initiative whilst working on the afternoon shift. Engineers with any packaging, refrigeration, electrical installation or quality TIG welding & fabrication experience are of particular interest, but these aren't essential requirments.
