Maintenance Engineer, York

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Fixed Term Contract Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in York.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: York

Hours: Alternating Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and Monday to Thursday 2pm-12am)

Salary: circa £43,000 (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance duties
• Responding to breakdowns
• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild
• Troubleshoot and fault find on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Provide general Maintenance support
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Carry out Risk Assessments

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Troubleshoot both Electrical and Mechanical reactive faults.
• Experience working in production environments

Suited candidates previously hold roles such as:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Shift Engineer.
