Role overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Team Administrator to join our professional TB Team. This role supports clinical teams and is key to delivering high quality patient care.

Only staff currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare, and nursing vacancies are open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for skilled worker sponsorship; applicants must have right to work in the UK.

Responsibility
  • Provide administrative support to the TB team, ensuring efficient operation and high quality patient care.
  • Maintain IT systems and databases supporting patient records and team workflows.
  • Assist in managing appointments, communications, and essential clinical documentation.
  • Gather patient and service user information and promote a patient‑first approach in all interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to NHS standards and best practice, including completion of necessary Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
  • Drive to duties where required, holding a full UK driving licence or valid EU licence. Accommodation for disability‑driven lack of driving ability will be provided.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 3 (NVQ Third, BTEC or equivalent international qualification)
  • Functional Skills at Level 2 (literacy and numeracy; GCSE grade A–C / 4–9 equivalent in English and Maths)
  • Recent experience of teamwork and versatility to undertake a variety of tasks.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Competence in using IT systems and medical databases.
  • Customer‑focused approach with awareness of NHS developments.
  • Ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams.
Benefits & Working Arrangements

Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 per annum pro rata.
