Functional Assessor - Nurse, Physio, Paramedic or OT Hybrid Working (2 days from home/3 days in the Assessment Centre) If you're a clinician with broad experience across multiple adult conditions and want structured work with predictable hours, this role offers a alternative to traditional practice.If your experience has been focused on a single speciality or limited patient group, this role is unlikely to be the right fit. This is not a hands-on clinical role. It is report-based and requires strong report writing skills and comfort with structured frameworks. The Role As a Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you'll use your clinical reasoning to assess how health conditions impact daily living.You will: Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments Review medical evidence and complete clinical triage Use focused questioning and active listening Produce clear, structured reports to strict standards that enable DWP decision making. What You Need To be considered, you must have:NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions Minimum 12 months' recent UK post-registration experience Have been a practicing as a clinician in the UK over the last 12 months. Experience working with a wide range of adult conditions across different clinical scenarios Strong written communication skills and be comfortable using computers.High attention to detail and objectivity This role will suit clinicians who: Are confident assessing varied health conditions (physical, mental health, long-term) Can adapt their clinical reasoning across different patient presentations Are comfortable producing detailed written reports Training&Working Pattern 6 months supported training to achieve DWP approval Hybrid working post-training Full-time hours with predictable schedule Pay&Benefits Up to 10% annual bonus (paid quarterly) Starting salary -£46,813.50. Salary at 12 months - £48,813.50 + potential to earn an additional £2000 local bonus for this site.
