Do you have experience working in a secondary or SEN school? Would you be able to support students with ASD, SEMH or Dyslexia? If you answered yes to the above, then this LSA role is for you! LSA - The Role The successful LSA will be joining this school on a full-time, long-term basis starting immediately. You will be required to support students with different types of special needs (ASD, SEMH, Dyslexia) across the school, both in classes and within the SEN department. Your main goal will be to encourage, engage and inspire. There are currently 6 SEN LSAs within the SEN Department, who are all lead by an experienced SENCO. LSA - The School This mixed mainstream school is based in the outer London Borough of Croydon. Catering to 864 students including their state-of-the-art autistic resource provision. This school does not have a 6th form there only has years 7 to 11. On their last Ofsted inspection, they were awarded 'requires improvement' and as such have appointed a new proven head teacher that is leading the school in all the right ways.
