Ideally the school want a graduate with experience, but this is not essential thanks to the fantastic support you will get from the SENCO, and Educational Psychologist. Ideally the school want to appoint a highly academic graduate for this Learning Support Assistant role, as they want someone who can think on their feet, set firm boundaries, and at the same time make sure the students? academic potential is fulfilled.
