This Primary School has recently been rated as 'good' by OFSTED along with 'good' for the SLT. The children are polite and the staff are friendly and supportive. This 3 form entry Primary School, is located close to local train stations and can also offer onsite parking for staff, making is easy and convenient to get to from all over South East London. The role will include working as part of the Primary School's SEN team, working 1:1 with a Year 2 boy with ASD. As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to help the child in and out of the classroom. The successful LSA will need to have a minimum of 3 months' experience working with SEN children and up to a BTEC degree. Alternatively, the School will consider someone with a University degree and 3 months' experience with Children (not in a classroom setting) and a keen interest in working with SEN children. This role is a full time position, to start immediately and continue until further notice. However, for the right candidate the School could be able to offer a permanent position next year.
