Learning Support Assistant / LSA Fantastic Facilities and Training Full Time Mon-Fri Vacancy Immediate Start Fantastic SLT KS2 Pay £65 - £85 per dayI am currently recruiting for agreat primary school who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work in Hillingdon, West London. This is a mainstream Primary School that also caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11 who have autism and moderate and/or severe learning difficulties. Split across three pleasant, well resourced and conveniently located sites (Early Years, KS1 and KS2) this school has been consistently delivering outstanding education for pupils for many years. The applicants for this Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role will need to be comfortable working within a fast pace environment, and working with children in KS2. This position does have the opportunity to go permanent Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Work with students with Special Educational Needs including autism and moderate and/or severe learning difficulties aged between 4 and 11 years old To support the class teacher within the mainstream class and special needs environment Working with the class teacher and up to two other support staff within the classroom Assisting and supporting the children with classroom work, as well as off site trips Daily rate from £65, depending on experience and qualifications Full-time Mon-Fri (8.30-4pm) Long-term supply placements available from September 2020THE SCHOOL This is a large, incredibly well run, impressive and well respected mainstream Primary School that has consistently delivered great outcomes for children through good planning, hands on responsive management and a truly collaborative approach where all staff are encouraged to be proactive and have a voice. THE LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (LSA) APPLICANTS Previous experience working within the UK education sector Previous experience working with a special needs environment is desired but not essential PECS and Makaton skills preferable though not essential Team Teach trained applicants preferable GCSE Maths and English Grades A - C or equivalent required for permanent contracts Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa) Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checksIf you are interested please submit your CV for immediate consideration
