Floating Support Officer Location: Camden, London Hours: 18.75 Hours per week, Monday-Friday predominantly with some flexibility required. Salary: £11,500.50 per annum Are you an experienced and ambitious Support Officer who has the ability it takes to motivate, support, direct and collaborate with others? We have a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of our brand-new Greater London Authority (GLA) Move-On & Tenancy Support Service. This service delivers tenancy support across 92 properties designated for former rough sleepers. Our service is based on the Mayor?s ?Move-On Programme Guidelines? for delivering support to former rough sleepers and will focus on providing tenancy sustainment, employment, training and volunteering opportunities and ultimately, support to move on into independent accommodation. Duties * Support individuals with low?medium support needs to maintain their tenancy, avoid eviction and improve long-term positive outcomes * Carry out support planning and risk assessments * Use SMART goal planning to provide needs led holistic support * Support customers to develop the necessary skills to live independently, and to access training, education and work Benefits Annual leave ? 28 days (pro rata'd) Pensions ? About You * Experience of working with vulnerable people and or rough sleepers with a range of needs in a support capacity ranging from mental health, substance misuse and dual diagnosis * You will have a comprehensive understanding of the issues affecting people who have experienced homelessness and rough sleeping * You will have sound knowledge of the housing and benefits sector and be up to date with current legislation and government frameworks * Level 3 Diploma, or willingness to work towards it  * Strong time management skills About Us One Support, part of One Housing, provide support to a wide range of people, including young people, people with mental health problems, ex-offenders, and people with substance misuse problems.
