Children?s Disability Support Worker Educ8sen is a specialist agency who works closely with local authorities to provide quality care 1:1 for children with complex needs, learning difficulties age 11+ We are looking for qualified carers, to work with us delivering activities, to work on encouraging and developing life skills for our clients. We are looking for carers who are available during school hours and after school, to be flexible and understanding of wide range learners needs and difficulties they are facing. We are currently looking for experienced support workers for a young man and women with autism and wide range of complexed and behavioural needs. We are looking for support workers that are high-energy and can be on-the-go all the time. Support Workers will need to be experienced in working with clients with Learning Disabilities, sensory diets and have a strong on the Positive Behaviour Support PBS ethos. Essential Requirements * Able to demonstrate that you possess the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people?s lives * Flexibility, as working times do vary and may include weekends and evenings, we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly * Background social care NVQ 2/ 3 or equivalent * Two years working in UK, * Children?s or young people?s residential or similar setting * Enhanced DBS on the update service * Experience working with EBD and SEMH as well as ASC spectrum and wider range learning disability If you are interested in this role then please send your most relevant and up to date CV I look forward to hearing from you soon
