We are supporting an established asset manager looking for a VAT specialist to join their team.
This is a standalone indirect tax role, reporting into the Head of Tax. Given the standalone nature of the role, we are looking for someone who is happy to be hands‑on with compliance as well as involved in advisory and project‑led work.
The role is suitable for someone at Senior Manager/Director level. We are open to candidates currently in‑house, as well as those looking to make their first move in‑house.
The role will cover:- VAT compliance oversight
- PAYE settlement support
- Process implementation and transformation work
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and communicating updates to the wider group where required
- VAT specialist
- Financial services experience preferred – the business has partial exemptions agreed with HMRC, so experience in this area would be advantageous
- In‑house and/or practice experience
